About Me
- Name: shelley
- Location: New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada
I have been a teacher, legal academic, writer and researcher for many years. I was the Northern Director of the Akitsiraq Law School based in Iqaluit, Nunavut from 2003 to 2005. This was a law school designed specially for Inuit students. While in the North I travelled throughout the Eastern Arctic and came away with a great affection for the land and people in Canada's most northerly territory. I am currently teaching in the Aboriginal Studies Program at Langara College, Vancouver, B.C.
